The CURE TAPESTRy network is pleased to invite applications for the 2024 - 2025 TAPESTRy Fellowship Program. This program will provide a year-long, mentored opportunity for new and veteran facilitators of CURE teaching assistant professional development (CURE TA PD) to develop and field-test resources to enhance the quality of CURE TA PD in their contexts.
TAPESTRy Fellows will:
- Participate in a one-year program to develop and field-test a novel resource centered on the enhancement of CURE TA PD (e.g., a PD intervention, a TA PD assessment instrument), which will include small- and large-group virtual professional development experiences
- Receive mentoring from a team of experienced CURE TAPESTRY leaders, including individuals with expertise in mentoring; CURE development, implementation, and evaluation; inclusive and equitable instruction; and the design and evaluation of TA PD initiatives
- Participate in an initial summer workshop, to coincide with the 2024 SABER conference. The workshop will begin on the evening of Sunday, 7/14, and will conclude with dinner on the following day. Travel funds of up to $1,500 will be provided to offset costs.
- Disseminate their CURE TA PD resource(s) to the broader community at a conference of their choice. Travel funds are available to offset conference costs.
